Where to Stay on Yeongjongdo, the Island Next to Incheon Airport: Concert Nights, Layovers and Resort Stays
Sleeping next to Incheon Airport? Which Yeongjongdo hotel fits a concert night, a layover or a resort break

Yeongjongdo is the island where Incheon Airport sits, and it now holds two big resorts, a 15,000-seat concert arena and a handful of airport hotels. Which base is best depends on why you are here. We read the resorts’ own English pages and the airport’s hotel list to compare shuttles, times and what is on site.

Concert nights at Inspire Arena
The Inspire Arena holds up to 15,000 seats. The resort says it is 15 minutes from Terminal 2 and about one hour from downtown Seoul, and tickets are sold on NOL World. The Korea JoongAng Daily reported that the arena staged 69 shows over 36 events in 2024 and aimed for 85 shows over 45 events in 2025. The same report noted there is no direct public transit, and that the resort runs free shuttles to the nearest subway station.

Nothing is listed between December 13 and January 13. Calendars change, so check the official events page before you book.
Getting between the resort and the airport

Parking is about 3,400 spaces. After the first 10 minutes free, it is KRW 2,000 per 10 minutes, with a daily maximum of KRW 48,000. Hotel guests get one free car per room. The resort has 1,275 rooms in three towers (Forest, Sun, Ocean). It also lists a spa and wellness pool, an indoor water attraction called Splash Bay, a 150-meter LED street open 8:00β24:00, and a mall open 10:00β22:00. One notice says general admission tickets to Splash Bay for non-hotel guests are discontinued from October (the year is not stated), so check before you plan a day visit.

Layovers and early flights: Paradise City
Paradise City’s official page lists a free shuttle every day. From Terminal 1 (1F, 3C) it runs every 20 minutes, first at 05:10 and last at 23:10. From Terminal 2 (1F, 4A) it runs every 60 minutes, first at 05:30 and last at 23:30. Public transport options on the same page: AREX to Terminal 1, then bus 302, 306A or 306 to Grand Hyatt Incheon and a five-minute walk, or the Maglev to Paradise City Station (closed Mondays).
Non-gambling facilities listed include a hotel with pools, a sauna and a spa, a shopping arcade with restaurants, an indoor family amusement park and an art gallery. A spa and jjimjilbang listing shows a “come back” countdown, so its status is unclear.
Airport hotels with free pickup
The airport’s own hotel FAQ lists these. The page has no date and looks old, so confirm everything with the hotel:

The airport hotel desk is +82-32-743-2570. The Incheon city tourism page (dated 2021) also lists hotels near Terminal 2 and one near the beach, without distances.

Eulwangri Beach is on the island too. We did not find an official page with bus numbers or fares for it, so we do not quote any. Taxis are short rides on the island, but we have not verified fares.
