Most guides to Seoul hotels tell you to take the AREX train and then the subway. That works, but with two big suitcases the stairs and transfers get tiring. There is another way: K Airport Limousine buses 6701, 6702 and 6703 run from Incheon Airport and stop at named hotels and stations around the city. We went through the operator’s own route pages and listed what stops where.

6701: City Hall, Myeongdong and Gwanghwamun
This is the one for the old center of Seoul. The stops are named after these hotels and stations (as listed on the operator’s page):

If your hotel is not on the list but sits near Myeongdong, the Myeongdong stop is the closest. From there you can walk, or take Subway Line 4 (Myeongdong Station is on Line 4).

6703: Gangnam, COEX and Seolleung
If you are in Gangnam for business, an event at COEX or a shopping trip, this is the route to know. The operator lists these stops:

Gangnam Station is on Subway Line 2 and the Shinbundang Line, so even if your hotel is a few blocks from the bus stop, onward trips are simple.
When to take the train instead
The bus is not always the best choice. If you land late, check the last departure time first: from Terminal 1, the last listed departures are 22:25 (6701), 23:05 (6702) and 22:55 (6703). After that, the AREX train or a taxi is the fallback. Rail also avoids road traffic.
